2024 TravelManagers Conference

12-14 September | Cairns | Australia

Like an Olympic champion, we’ve seen one record tumble after the other. Even still, there’s no doubt the opportunities that lie ahead.

But how can we keep going when we’re already working so hard? It’s not about increasing our workload but refining our methods and embracing change that makes us more efficient.

It could be a simple habit that saves you an hour’s work each day. It could be getting more strategic about the products you are selling, giving you the best return on the investment of your time and energy. Or it could be game-changing new technology that streamlines everything.

Join us, 12 - 14 September in Cairns, for the TravelManagers Australia conference where we’ll take Working Smarter to the next level.

In 2024 we’d like you to step in and press the floor you want to get off, rather than continue running up the stairs.

I look forward to seeing you in Cairns this September.

Sustainable Conferencing

A primary objective of the conference is to maximise sustainability for this event. We encourage you to embrace this message.

Here are some great tips to reduce, reuse and recycle.

  • BYO Water Bottles. The venues have plenty of water fountains for refilling throughout the day.

  • BYO Keep Cups. Tea and coffee is a key ingredient of any successful conference. Please ensure you can reuse your cups where possible.

  • Offset your carbon when booking your travel. For a few extra dollars, you can contribute towards lowering the carbon emissions of your travel to the conference.

  • Walk. This year, we have managed to source venues all within a short walk from the Convention Centre and preferred hotels, which limits the need for coach transfers. If you can, and it's safe do so, please consider walking to the venue.

  • Use Local. Where we can, we will use local suppliers for activities, entertainment and other aspects of the event. Supporting local businesses means we can make a significant economic impact for the local community. We encourage you to do the same when visiting Cairns.
